  • Beskrivelse: Though the railroad bridge has been destroyed at Rocchette Piovene, the enemy is firing shots in retaliation, and the Isonzo river is low, yet the Duke of Aosta's troops advance towards Gorizia step by step. The Italian soldiers enter the city on Edmondo de Amicis Street, followed by the cavalrymen. In the name of the king, the Count of Turin takes possession of the city. Bread and blankets are distributed to the prisoners.
